一、Mini-pig用于研究酒精的生理、病理、行為、毒理等方面的優勢


豬的基因和生理都與人體非常接近,而微型豬更是與人相似,在某些方面甚至比靈長類更為接近人類。在酒精研究方面,豬,包括微型豬,很容易接受酒精(對酒精不厭惡)。因此,豬是研究酒精生物學作用、酒精性疾病造模非常理想的實驗動物。微型豬料理方便,食物攝入量小,因此,采用微型豬更可取。在我國,購買小型豬也很容易。

微型豬酒精液體模型飼料的用途和特點
微型豬酒精液體模型飼料的用途:比較全面、廣泛,例如:

【1】酒精對生理機能以及妊娠、胎兒的影響;

【2】任何酒精性疾病的造模;

【3】酒精毒性和毒理學的研究;

【4】藥物、食品功能因子、保健品對酒精的拮抗作用;

【5】疾病造模后藥物、食品功能因子、保健品的治療或者輔助治療效果及其機制;

【6】毒物與酒精在機體的相互作用。的相互作用。

微型豬酒精液體模型飼料的特點:

【1】可以按研究需要任意確定動物所要達到的血液酒精濃度;

【2】慢性試驗中根據不同階段給以不同熱量的模型飼料。

豬酒精液體飼料并不是真正的液體形態,而是泥樣飼料(Slurry)。之所以要求這樣的形態,關鍵是由于喂養方式所決定。一般來說,Tsukamoto-French模型Badger酒精液體飼料所需要的腸內營養方法,可以通過液體給予,而Lieber-DeCarli酒精液體飼料用于喂養動物是以液體飲用瓶給予。所有這些情況下酒精不容易揮發丟失。豬雖然完全可以給以液體飼料,但是,豬嘴較大,食量大,如果真的給以液體飼料,則酒精大量揮發,難以控制酒精攝入量。而用泥樣飼料(軟飼料),并且注意喂養控制,即可達到控制酒精揮發的目的。

豬酒精液體飼料分為兩種,一種是純化原料配制,這種純化型飼料是最為理想的豬酒精液體模型飼料,但是,成本較高,如果經費有限,只能使用第二種飼料,也就是日糧飼料,即在日糧飼料基礎上配制酒精液體飼料。然而,必需清楚非常關鍵的三點:

首先,微型豬的飼料與普通家豬的飼料不同,不宜用普通家養豬飼料為基礎配制。

其次,在喂養時間較長的情況下,需要根據微型豬的發育分階段分別配制液體飼料(一般分兩個階段),這是因為不同發育階段對飼料熱量和營養素的需要量不同。

最后一點是,在以日糧為基礎配制酒精液體飼料時,原料種類必需進行嚴格控制,在家養豬中使用的很多原料都不能用于酒精液體飼料,主要是因為其中含有影響實驗或干擾實驗的已知和未知成分。

三、Minipig Ethanol Liquid Diet應用的注意點


1.購買飼料前:

(1)應當做好動物的準備,注意豬的月齡、體重,特別注意豬的品種和品系的選擇。

(2)飼料喂養流程設計。
