Model Diet of Atherosclerosis in Chickens

在1942年已經報道模型飼料誘導雞動脈粥樣硬化。事實上,雞可以自發地發生動脈粥樣硬化。當給予動脈粥樣硬化模型飼料后,發生更明顯、更快,因此,雞被廣泛地用于研究動脈粥樣硬化的模型以及作為藥物干預性研究。

一、雞動脈粥樣硬化模型造模的特點


雞用作人類動脈粥樣硬化模型動物,具有以下方面的表現:

(1)高膽固醇飼料喂雞可快速發生(2周左右開始)動脈粥樣硬化。

(2)雞模型飼料誘導的動脈粥樣硬化部位包括腹主動脈、冠狀動脈。

(3)模型飼料誘導的動脈粥樣硬化屬于早期表現,雖然難以到達高級階段,但動脈粥樣硬化的表現類似于人類。

二、雞動脈粥樣硬化模型飼料


雞動脈粥樣硬化模型飼料包括高膽固醇模型飼料和高脂高膽固醇模型飼料。

可以采用高膽固醇模型飼料喂養。
